Using Tabs in eBook

This tutorial describes how to edit tabs in the eBooks.

1. Log on the the phpMyAdmin.

Daniel, Carol, Jill, and Sarah have the passwords and URL's.

  • If you want to find information on the Users of the books, Go to 'users'.  Usually Jill and Carol do this.
  • If you want information on the contracts, districts, schools, click those.  Usually Jill uses this.
  • If you want to edit the entire tabs of the eBook, go to 'contents'.  Only Daniel and Carol go here.
  • If you want to edit the tabs in any of the pages of the eBooks with tabs, go to 'contents_index'.
  • If you want to edit the glossary, go to contents_glossary.
Log on the the phpMyAdmin.
In this case, go to 'contents_index' to copy a tabbed page to another eBook. Then click 'Search'.

3. Fill in the search fields of your choice.

  • Title is the name of the book.
  • Section is the name of the page.
  • Typeid is the name of the particular index.  (See last item in this tutorial for list.)

4. Once you have found what you want, you can 'edit', 'copy', or 'delete'.

5. To copy to another book, change the book name.  

In this case, I changed 'cca' to 'pc' to add it to the precalc book.
