Adding Content to Spanish Versions

This article is a guide on how to navigate and add Spanish content in the Curriculum Digital Platform (CDP).

1. Access the authoring interface.

2. Select the Series → Course → Chapter → Section → Lesson.

3. Click the version dropdown menu on the upper right corner and select 'Español (ES)'.

4. Update the following sections/items into Spanish content.

Only the student facing content will be updated. DO NOT include the LaaG section and Teacher Notes (Reminder, Questions to Consider, and Authors' Vision).

  1. Lesson Title and Question
  2. Lesson Focus box <to be determined>
  3. Launch/Inicio
  4. Explore/Explora (including answers)
  5. Closure/Cierre
  6. Methods & Meanings/Métodos y Significados
  7. Reflection & Practice/Reflexión y Práctica (including answers)
  8. Learning Targets <to be determined>
  9. Lesson links under Reflection & Practice/Reflexión y Práctica <to be determined>
  10. Images with Spanish translation
  11. Alternative text for images
  12. Interactive activities <to be determined>

5. Review your work.

Compare with the English version to make sure content was updated correctly (paragraphs, locations, images, etc.).

To view the Preview and Teacher front end, add "?lang=ES" at the end of the URL.
To view the Student front end, add "?filter=student&lang=ES" at the end of the URL.
