1. Open the Smartsheet application.
2. Click the arrow to the left of 'Workspaces' to view/hide categories and select 'Pilot Sheets'.
3. Click the 'Template 2019-2020 Pilot Sheet' to open the sheet.

4. Click the 'Use Template' button.

5. Type the name of the Pilot sheet in the 'Name your sheet' textbox.
Format: Generic Pilot: (tech initials)(mm-dd-h:mm)
Example: Generic Pilot: (PZ)(10-21-01:20)
6. Click the 'Save' button.

1. Click the 'Alerts & Actions' and select 'Alert Someone'.

2. Click the 'X' in the upper right corner to Exit .
3. Click the Tools icon in the right corner.


4. Under Automation Permissions, click 'Unrestricted'.
5. Click 'OK'.
6. Click 'X' in right corner to exit Automation. You have completed creating a Generic Pilot sheet. You can exit Smartsheets or create another Generic Pilot.
