1.1. Open the Interactive Activity Tracking Google sheet.
1.2. Click the Desmos Activity Player link.
1.3. Click the 'Student Preview' button.
This will be the raw video.
2.1. Open the QuickTime Player.
2.2. Click 'File' on the main menu and select 'New Screen Recording' from the dropdown list.
2.3. Select the portion you want to record.
Click and drag the points to adjust the selected portion.
Do not include the play bar at the bottom of the Desmos Activity Player.
2.4.1. Click 'Options' button and select the preferred settings from the dropdown list.
2.4.2. Select 'Other Location' to locate the path where you want to save your recording.
2.4.3. Select 'Show Mouse Clicks' if needed.
2.5. Click 'Record' to start recording.
2.6. Click the 'Stop Icon' to end recording.
Stop icon is located at the upper right menu bar of your screen.
2.7.1. Click 'Edit' from the menu bar and then select 'Trim' from the dropdown list.
2.7.2. Click and drag the handles on the trimming bar to adjust the length of the video.
The handles (left and right) indicates where to start and end the video.
2.7.3. Click the 'Trim' button.
2.8.1. Click 'File' → 'Export As' → '1080p...'.
1080p automatically adjusts the screen width to 1920px.
2.8.2. Enter the file name in 'Export As:' textbox.
i.e.: IC# Lesson #.#.# <title>
2.8.3. Click the folder dropdown arrow to change file location.
2.8.4. Click the compatibility setting dropdown icon and select 'Greater Compatibility (H.264)'.
2.8.5. Click the 'Save' button.
3.1. Open and Login to Fetch.
3.2. Click 'pdfs' folder → 'Videos (Raw)' folder → <folder>
The path for this example is 'pdfs/Videos (Raw)/IC/ic1'.
3.3. Click the raw video file from your personal folder to the desired location in Fetch.
4.1. Open the Adobe After Effects.
4.2. Click the files from your folder and drag them to AE project panel (i.e.: resized video (.mov) and cpm logo (CPM_logo_color_web)).
Files:
- resized video (.mov)
- cpm logo (CPM_logo_color_web.png).
4.3. In 'Ae', click the files (video and logo) from project panel and drag them to the timeline panel.
Make sure that the CPM logo is placed above the video.
4.4.1. Click the dropdown arrow on the image layer (CPM logo) and then the 'Transform' dropdown arrow to view the settings.
4.4.2. Change the postion and size of the CPM logo.
Position: 136.0, 198.0
Scale: 25%
Make sure the aspect ratio of 'Scale' is locked.
4.5.1. Insert a text layer: Click 'Layer' from the menu bar → 'New' → 'Text'.
4.5.2. On the 'Composition' panel, click and drag to create a textbox.
4.5.3. Type the Copyright content in the textbox.

Rule in adding copyright year: Add the current year, or if the current date is greater than May 31st, add the following year.
4.5.4. Change the Text settings.

4.5.5. Change the position of the copyright text.
Position: 1656.0, 1310.0
4.5.6. (OPTIONAL) Rename the layer: Right click on the text layer → select 'Rename' → type the name of the text layer. (i.e. Copyright).
4.6.1. Click 'File' → 'Save'.
4.6.2. Enter the file name in 'Save As:' textbox.
4.6.3. Click the folder dropdown arrow to change file location (optional).
4.6.4. Click the 'Save' button.
4.7.1. Open the 'Adobe Me'.
4.7.2. In 'Ae', click the 'File' → 'Export' → 'Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue...'
The video file will be automatically added the 'Me' queue panel.
4.7.3. Go to 'Adobe Me'.
4.7.4. In the 'Queue' panel, click the file path under 'Output File' to rename the file and/or change file location.
4.7.5. Enter the file name in 'Save As:' textbox.
4.7.6. Click the folder dropdown arrow to change file location.
4.7.7. Click the 'Save' button.
4.7.8. Click the play button to convert to '.mp4'.
5.1. Open the Google Drive.
5.2. Open the desired IC folder.
5.3. Click each file (.mov, .aep, and .mp4) from the folder where you saved the files and drag to the corresponding folder in Google Drive.
- .mov file to 'Raw_Videos' folder
- .aep file to 'Working_Files_AE' folder
- .mp4 file to 'Final_Videos' folder
