Technology Customer Onboarding

This article describes how to do the customer onboarding for the technology department.

1. Find a Customer to Onboard
  • Go to the Customer Support Staus Board
  • Choose a Customer that has purchased from a district or school Or a Comp
2. Get the contact info from CIM or ELS
  • ELS
    • Go to the CPM Records --> districts
    • Search by customer ID.
    • Scroll to find the administrator and contact info.
  • CIM
    • Go to: shop.cpm.org
    • Sign in with Google
    • Go to Accounts
    • Search for the customer ID
    • Click: Details
    • From the Dashboard, Find the contact person.
3. Create a Customer Folder and Share with Customer w/o Notifying
  • Copy the Customer name with ID from the Smartsheet
  • Go to: CPM Customers folder
  • Create a new folder with Customer ID and name.
  • Get the email for the contact.  Share the folder unchecking 'notify people'.
