Checking and Editing Problem Containers

Updated on

In each Lessons tab, you will see the math lessons and problems separated into their individual containers. However, some problem containers could be missing, have individual lists, be null, be broken, etc.

1. Check if problem containers are in the right order
  • Go to the Lessons tab in C3PO and pull up the pdf file of the book you are working on
  • Compare the order and arrangement of the Lesson problem containers to the pdf
  • If you find any problem containers in the wrong order, click on the container and cut it out of its spot (Command X). Then paste (Command V) it into its correct spot.
  • Save and publish your edits

2. Check if any problem containers are in draft (*) mode

Check if any of the problem containers have a red (*). If so, this means they are in draft mode and need to be published.

  • Click on the problem container and check if the information is correct. Make any changes necessary, and then click on the "Save and publish" button.
  • The problem container should now be published.

3. Check if any problem containers are "null" or labeled incorrectly

Sometimes you will get a Lesson or Answer container that says "null" in the grey bar at top. This usually means the container has not been given a Name/Number.

Other times, some problem containers may not be labeled correctly i.e. wrong name, no dash "-" between numbers, etc, so you must edit the Name/Number

  • To fix this, go to the problem container page and scroll to the bottom until you find the null problem/answer
  • Then click on the pen tool at right to edit the Name, Number, and to add any content such as a Question or Answer

4. Check if problem containers are linked appropriately

Sometimes you will see in the problem container list overview that there are problem containers with no answer linked. This can mean either two things:

1. The problem container is content like Learning Logs and problems with no given answer

  • If this is the case, you do not need to make an Answers container

2. The lesson problem has an answer but an answer container was never created

  • If the lesson problem has an answer, go to the problem containers list and add an Answers container
