Legacy Site: Imaging Homework Help

This article explains the process for adding images from a homework problem to the homework help site.

2. The Images

  • Open PDF of problem on desktop
  • Copy pertinent images to desktop (shift+command+4)
  • Name the images
  • Copy to Homework Images in Google Drive.
  • Naming convention: ebook.ch-problem.png
  • Save images in the correct folder.

3. In the Homework Help site:

  • Navigate to the problem
  • Click "Edit Problem <#>.
In the Homework Help site:

3.1. Upload the image from your desktop.

  • Click Image in the Add Resource to Problem menu.
  • Choose File then navigate to the file and select
  • Select a row container if desired
  • Click 'OK'.

3.2. Move the image to the correct location.

  • Use the Green Arrows and the Edit Resource button (looks like a yellow paper with pencil).
  • Use the Edit Resource button to move the image into a resource container if necessary.

3.3. Resize image.

  • Set Resource Size button.
  • Looks like a white page with blue directional arrows.

3.4. Re-position the image.

  • Add some image offset with the Position Dialog button if needed.

  • Icon looks like two yellow rulers
