Old - Generate, Search, Edit, and Delete Assessment Test Questions

Assessment Test Generator

1.  Go to https://assessment.cpm.org.

Note: You will be directed to the 'User Agreement' window.

2.  Click the 'I agree' button.

3.  Click the 'Admin Panel' tab.

4.  Click 'Questions'.

5.  Select the book you will be generating questions by clicking the '+' icon. (Click '-' to hide the chapters.)

6.  Select the chapter by clicking the '+' icon . (Click '-' to hide the topics.)

7.  Select the topic by clicking the checkbox.

8.  Click 'Create New Question' button.

9.  Copy the question from the document provided and paste/type it to the Question textbox.

Notes:

Assessment questions are usually downloaded from Dropbox.

You will be assigned and provided a link from Smartsheet. (example: Precalculus V3 Assessment)

Use the Assessment Sample Test Protocols for standards in generating questions.

10.  Copy the answer from the document provided and paste/type it to the Answer textbox.

Note: All answers' font weight must be in BOLD and enclosed with [  ].

11.  Click the '...' to the right of 'Categories' box to add the Category. (A new window will be opened for category list).

a.  Locate the book, chapter, and category by clicking the '+' and checkbox icon.

b.  Click 'Select Category' button.

12.  Click the '...' to the right of 'Clusters' box to add the clusters (if applicable). (A new window will be opened for cluster list).

a.  Locate the corresponding cluster/s by clicking the '+' and checkbox icon.

b.  Select 'Cluster'.

13.  Select the 'Material', 'Problem Type', and 'Difficulty'.

14.  Click the 'Update' button to save.

Search Assessment Test Questions

1.  Click the 'Admin Panel' tab.

2.  Click 'Questions'.

3.  Select the book, chapter, and category by clicking the '+' icon and checkbox.

4.  (Optional) Type a keyword/s or phrase in the 'Keywords' textbox.

5.  (Optional) Type a range of Question ID in the 'Start' and 'End' textboxes.

6.  Select the 'Problem type' and/or 'Difficulty'.

7.  Click 'Search results per page' dropdown and select the number of results per page you want to view.

8.  Click the 'Search' button to view the result.

Edit Assessment Test Questions

1.  Search for the test question you want to edit. (See the Search Assessment Test Questions procedure above.

2.  Click the 'Edit' button.

3.  Make the necessary changes.

4.  Click the 'Update' button to save.

5.  Click the 'Questions' button to go back to the previous page.

Delete Assessment Test Questions

1.  Search for the test question you want to edit. (See the Search Assessment Test Questions procedure above.

2.  OPTION 1: Click the 'Select All' button to select all the questions you searched.

3.  OPTION 2: Click the checkbox/es to the left of the Question ID you want to delete.

4.  Click 'Delete Selected' button. (Warning message will appear.)

a.  Click the 'OK' button to delete.
