This article describes how your CPM email can obtain the same CPM footer in all email. Note: The footer does not show if mailing to another CPM employee. To test, mail to your private/personal email address.
Below is how the footer should look in your emails.
Here is an example of an incomplete disclaimer:
On a laptop:
1. Check to make sure 'Composing' is NOT in plain text, but in 'HTML' or 'Rich Text'.
- Go to your mail preferences.
- Find Composing.
- Turn Message Format to 'Rich Text' or 'HTML' depending on your system/platform.
- Do a test by emailing a test email to your personal email. If the footer is NOT correct, go to step 2.
2. If #1 failed above, check the signature.
- Go to mail preferences.
- Go to signature.
- Add a signature of several lines and Bold 'CPM'.
- Do a test by emailing a test email to your personal email. This should work!
On an iPhone or iPad:
Apparently, the iPhone or iPad does not have a setting for 'Rich Text' or 'HTML'. But you can trick it by editing your signature.
3. Go to settings:
- Scroll down to 'Mail'.
- Click on Signature.
4. For your CPM mail:
- Tap your signature.
- Edit it by typing in more than one line.
- You may need to bold some letters such as CPM.
- Do a test by emailing a test email to your personal email. This should work!
