This article describes how to find the number of gigs of memory on your computer as well as finding the number of gigs of storage space.
On your Mac Computer:
- From your desktop, click the apple icon on the upper left corner.
- Click 'About This Mac'.
- Find 'Memory' on this page.
- Click the 'Storage' tab, at the top. Find the number of gigs for storage there. It may say capacity instead of storage.
Storage may look like one of the images below. Most computers will be 256 gigs, 512 gigs, 1TB gigs, etc. Below one of the computers has 1 TB. The other has 256 gigs even though it says 249.77GB.
