How do I make a pdf file from a .doc file?

This tutorial describes the steps for making a .pdf file from a .doc file only for student files going to the printer! All other files get printed at the standard 100%.

1. Be sure that Markup is NOT checked!

Uncheck "Markup" if checked!

Be sure that Markup is NOT checked!

2. Go to file --> Page Setup.  Select US Letter Size Paper. Print at 87%. (Type in the number!)

3. Select "PDF".  Your file should be saved with an automatic extension of .pdf.

Note: Each printer setting is different.  You may need to "look" around to find the pdf option.
