Adding Apps to the Kandji Library/Blueprint

This article describes how to add an app to Kandji via the Library and then adding to the default Blueprint. These apps should be available in self-service.

Curtis needs to add the app(s) from the app store into Kandji:

"I (Curtis) have added them from the App Store so they are now available to Kandji. We want to have these delivered via the self service, so the process will be to add them to the Blueprints, then edit them so that the installation is self service and the category Productivity."

1. Login to Kandji
2. Verify the require app is in the Library.
3. Add to Blueprints

Click on the app in the library to view the details.

  1. Choose the platform
  2. Choose details of the platform
  3. Click "Add"

Note: We do not remember if you click "add" first and then the next section shows. Or scroll down to part 4 first to do the self-service and the Category.

4. Scroll down & choose from Installation and Category.
  1. Under Installation: Choose from the arrow: Install on-demand from Self Service.
  2. Under Category: Choose from the arrow: Productivity
  3. Click "Save".
5. Test to be sure the app is available to the company.
  1. Click on the Kandji icon at the top bar of your computer and click the Kandji Self Service.
  2. Scroll down and locate the required app.
  3. Click "Open".
