1. Recordbook

In the RC's recordbook, go to the Historical Regional School sheet/tab (Yellow)
Go to file --> Download as --> Comma-separated values (.csv, current sheet)
This will download to your default download place, usually the Downloads folder.

2. Open and edit the dowloaded file.
- Open the dowloaded file in Excel. (This can be done in Google sheets, but Excel is easier)
- Delete the first row that contains School Map. You will need the column headers to be on row one.
- Save the file and close Excel.
- You will need to click continue.

3. Find an existing map to create a new map.
The easiest way to create a new map is to open an existing map.
In the RC - RC Team Drive, navigate to the Maps folder: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MBxUW4ff2IQB8KYUmM2kDpU8F1J7L2ne
Choose a map and open it.

Click the three dots by the map title to open the menu for creating new maps.
Click New map.

This is the next screen you will see.
Click Import

Once you click import you will get the Choose a file to import pop up window.
Select the .csv file from your computer that you created and edited in the first and second steps.

4. Choose the columns to position your placemarks
This is asking for addresses.
For the RC Map Schools select the last four options: Billing Address, City, State, and ZipCode.

5. Choose a column to title

6. Save and link the map.
Name the Map.
You can use the name of the .csv file.

Move the new map from your drive to the Team Drive.

Add the link from the new map to the recordbook.
